Overview
Following a series of successful Breezair installations across Army facilities in Baluchistan, the Pakistan Air Force selected Breezair’s advanced evaporative cooling technology for a newly constructed 2,230 m2 aircraft hangar and multifunctional hall in Zhob. The decision was driven by Breezair’s proven performance, energy efficiency, and reliability in challenging climates.

Challenge
Zhob experiences extreme summer temperatures exceeding 44°C. While refrigerated air conditioning systems were considered, they were deemed cost-prohibitive both in terms of installation and long-term operation. The military needed an efficient, economical solution suitable for large-volume spaces.
Solution
- System Installed: 16 × Breezair TBQ 500 units for hangar cooling
- Installation Configuration: Units mounted on one side wall with exhausts on the opposite wall
- Technology Advantage: Breezair’s superior performance, durability, and robustness—already proven in previous military installations—were key factors in the decision to once again choose Seeley International’s advanced cooling technologies.
Results
Indoor Temperature Improvement: When a temperature reading was taken in April 2025, before the peak summer temperatures of up to 49°C, the internal temperature had already fallen to 23°C, compared to an ambient 32°C, a 9°C drop, achieved before summer extremes. Perfect hangar cooling success with Breezair!
Humidity Considerations: Zhob’s relatively dry climate enhances the performance of evaporative cooling.
